History of Slav’s Painting
Now, before I get into the groundwork of what we stand for, and how we conduct our business, I would like to uncover the story of how it all started. Before we were the company that we are today, we started small, and that was with Slav. Part of Slav’s life was actually spent outside of the US borders. Growing up in Ukraine was tough and most people relied on the land. If you didn’t have a garden of sorts, then it is very unlikely that you could survive even if you held a full time job. The pay was so insufficient that many times it required other forms of measure to be able to live and survive.
Because of the tough times, Slav gathered his wits and his family in search of a better life for his wife and kids, and to chase the liberty in the US that we call the american dream. Slav arrived in the United States in 2000 and began working with exterior painting contractors soon after. He worked as an employee under someone else to learn the skills required to open his own business. In 2002, Slav finally established his business, Slav’s Painting.
